Not Just Another Marathon Fundraising Program...
Team Tiara is the charity running leg of Girls on the Run. It is a team of aspiring athletes who each pursue individual goals, such as completing the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, or other races to inspire, celebrate, and be an example of self respect and healthy living. We use the power of running to raise much needed funding for Girls on the Run of Maricopa County.
There are three “Crown Jewels” that make up Team Tiara:
- Health: We run in celebration of health! We are motivated to make a difference in the future of girls by introducing healthy habits and an active lifestyle through running.
- Girl Power: We run because it is fun! Our Team members run in “sporty” tiaras – which remind us of the whimsical spirit that exists within girls and shows off our image of being strong, healthy women who dare to make a difference.
- Inspiration: We know no limits! The experience of a Team Tiara athlete mirrors the experience of a girl in the GOTR program: Both learn lessons about goal setting and achievement, perseverance, motivation, overcoming obstacles and inspiration. These athletes step across the finish line and experience a moment when their sense of what is possible becomes limitless!
Not running the P.F. Chang's Rock 'n' Roll Arizona Marathon or 1/2 Marathon and still want to be a part of Team Tiara?
Great! You can be a Team Tiara member for any athletic event: triathlons, swimming, cycling, walking, etc.

The levels are:
- Team Tiara Cotton T-shirt: $262
- Girls on the Run or Team Tiara hat: $500
- Girls on the Run or Team Tiara cinch sack: $750
- Girls on the Run or Team Tiara blanket: $1000 and up
- Online training plans to fine tune your training
- Simple online fundraising through Active.com. We accept offline donations too!
- Inspirational emails from Girls on the Run to keep you motivated
- Your own "sporty" tiara to decorate and inspire you
- Extra motivation of running for a reason - to change the lives of Girls!
Team Tiara Commitments:
- Register for the race of your choice and pay the race registration fee.
- Sign up directly here to be a Team Tiara member, select Girls on the Run of Maricopa County as the benefiting chapter, and pay the $26.20 non-refundable sign up fee (this fee is counted toward you fundraising goal).
- Raise a minimum of $262 for Girls on the Run by thirty days after race completion.
