9:30 a.m. Raffle drawing (This will take place once all girls
complete the run).
New this year: Chip timing, a new single-loop, flat, fast course
and wave starts! There will also be music, food, face
painting and other fun activities.
Registration Levels:
5K General Registration: $25 ($30 on race day)

Running Buddy: $25 ($30 on race day) - Includes
race entry & event T-shirt
Please note that although the 5K will be timed this year and
there will be a competitive element, those who are interested in
more of a fun run/walk are welcome and encouraged to participate in
the general 5K event as well.
Support Girls on the Run
By participating in the Girls on the Run 5K you help
empower girls! 100% of the race proceeds go directly to Girls on
the Run serving Maricopa and Pinal Counties - a life-changing,
non-profit prevention program that inspires girls in 3rd through
8th grade to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun,
experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates
running.
Girls on the Run aims to promote an environment that allows
girls and women to reach their full potential and to transform the
way girls and women perceive themselves and their place in
society. Last year we awarded scholarships to more than 70%
of our participants. Your support will enable us to continue
to deliver programing to these girls and families in need and will
provide them with life-changing lessons and support.

Raffle: All registered participants will
receive one raffle ticket upon check-in. Additional tickets
will be sold throughout the event: 1 for $1 or 6 for $5. All
proceeds benefit Girls on the Run of Maricopa County. Must be
present at time of drawing to win.
Running Buddies Needed: Share a girl's
exhilaration and excitement as she crosses the finish line of her
first 5K. For many girls, this is the biggest challenge and biggest
accomplishment of Girls on the Run®. And one of their favorite
parts is having their very own Running Buddy by their side!
Parking and Race Course: The start/finish and
staging area will be located on the south soccer fields adjacent to
the southern park entrance at Guadalupe Road. You may park in the
lots near the fields or anywhere throughout the park.

competitive 5K race including over-all, age group awards and chip
timing! Awards to top over-all man and woman and top 3 men and
women in each of the five year age groups.
Running Buddies Needed

Team Captain-Create Your Team button above. Once the team is

the registration process. We will offer fun prizes for
participating teams.

Packet Pick-Up: Registered participants can
pick up their race packets on Friday, April 27th at Runner's Den
from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or on race day.
Volunteer: Volunteers make this event
possible! We are looking for volunteers that can be on site
from 6 to about 10:00 a.m. on event day. If you are
interested in helping, please email meagan@gotrmc.org.
Sleep-In for the Cause!
Not a morning person or can't attend the event, but still
want to support Girls on the Run®? Make a donation
