Meet Vera, our August Girl Hero. Since 2012, Vera has been a dedicated member of the Girls on the Run community, serving on our Board of Directors, participating as a 5K Sparkle Runner, attending our annual Limitless Potential Brunch, and giving back as a recurring monthly donor.

Each spring, Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole teams gather across our community. Girls move, connect, set goals, navigate challenges, and build skills they can carry with them long after the season ends.

Years after participating in Girls on the Run, Megan is still carrying the lessons she learned as a young girl into her everyday life.

Meet Erin, our July Girl Hero. As a GOTR mom, coach, board member, fundraiser, workplace advocate, and passionate volunteer, Erin has dedicated herself to helping girls build confidence, discover their strengths, and realize their limitless potential.

This month, we are grateful to recognize Visit.org and the attendees of Benevity Live! for supporting girls in our community through a meaningful hands-on service project.
