Community Impact Projects Across the Valley
Community Impact Projects inspire Girls on the Run participants with the confidence to make a difference in the world around them. After learning about the importance of community and brainstorming ways to give back, teams vote on a project that will positively impact and support a community near them. Throughout every step of the process, girls channel the self-assurance, empathy, and courage they’ve gained during the season.
From park clean-ups and food drives to donation collections and acts of kindness in their communities, our girls continue to amaze us with their can-do attitudes and giving spirits.
This season, our Girls on the Run teams completed 78 Community Impact Projects across the Valley, each one uniquely designed to support and uplift their local communities. Community Impact Projects are always a highlight of the season, and we’re excited to share just a few examples of the incredible work our teams accomplished this spring.
